Kuro Aresjot is an alien from the Frostveil Federation. On the brink of retirement, he was assigned one final mission: to scout Earth and document the status of its thriving civilization. Unfortunately, his spaceship suffered a malfunction and crashed in Hokkaido, Japan. After scavenging a hoodie from a nearby human camp, Kuro eventually found himself in the fictional city of Tonarihama.
Kuro possesses the unique ability to switch between two forms: a humanoid form, which resembles a young man, and a penguin form, which resembles an emperor penguin chick.
