Serana is a Spider Queen and an optional boss in Kingdom's Bane: Requiem who dwells in the caverns beneath the City of Lioris.
Lore[edit]
She typically maintains a calm demeanor and is most active at night, occasionally venturing into the city above. Serana preys on people who are often alone and in vulnerable states. She lures her victims with her beauty, and it is only when they are too close that they notice her more unsettling attributes—by then, it is too late. Serana swiftly incapacitates her prey with her toxins, dragging them to her lair in the blink of an eye.
The citizens of Lioris remain unaware of her existence, attributing the mysterious disappearances to some boogeyman. Despite her predatory nature, not everyone who encounters Serana becomes her victim. If she finds a person amusing or unique, she will let them go.
During the events of the game, Serana will interact with Astra, often trading with her and finding sustenance by preying on demons.
